Creatine Overview
Looking to maximize your performance, build your strength during workouts, and optimize your recovery periods?
Demand the best with Creapure® creatine!
Creatine is a key active ingredient recognized for improving muscle power and supporting short, high-intensity exercise. It plays an essential role in muscle energy, making it a must-have for athletes.
For our powdered creatine supplement, we have selected Creapure® creatine monohydrate exclusively. Thanks to its exceptional purity, it guarantees optimal absorption, free from additives or preservatives.
Providing 3 g of creatine per serving, this high-quality, anti-doping compliant formula mixes seamlessly into your routine, before or after training.
Who is our Creapure® Creatine for?
Our Creapure® Creatine is designed for anyone looking to improve their physical performance during short, high-intensity exercise. Four profiles benefit in particular:
- You practice weight training
This is the most well-known and scientifically documented use. Creatine allows you to power through more effective sets by improving performance during short, intense efforts. Combined with regular training, it becomes a cornerstone of a weight training routine. Find it in our bodybuilding supplements. - You do explosive sports
Sprinting, jumping, team sports (rugby, football, basketball), CrossFit, combat sports... All disciplines requiring high-intensity intermittent efforts benefit from creatine's effects on muscle phosphocreatine. See also our complete sports range. - You are over 55 and want to maintain your strength
This is one of the most valuable EFSA health claims: taking 3 g/day combined with regular resistance training (at least 3 sessions per week), creatine can enhance the effect of resistance training on muscle strength in adults over 55. [1] A particularly relevant benefit for preserving strength and independence with age. Combine with our Vitamin D3 to support muscle and bone function. - You are vegetarian or vegan
Creatine is mainly found in meat and fish, so dietary intake is naturally lower in vegetarian and vegan diets. Supplementation is particularly relevant in this case. Our Creapure® is produced by laboratory synthesis without animal-derived raw materials. Pair with our Organic Spirulina for plant-based protein intake.
How to Take Creatine : Dosage and Usage Tips
What dosage?
Mix 3 g of creatine (= 1 scoop filled to line 4) into a shaker with 200 ml of water or your beverage of choice. Shake for a few seconds, and it's ready.
For added convenience, you can add creatine to your whey shaker—the two complement each other perfectly (creatine supports performance during exercise, while whey supports post-workout recovery).
When to take it?
Our creatine can be taken before or after training, depending on your preference. On non-training days, take it at any time of day. Consistency matters more than timing, as the goal is to gradually saturate your muscle phosphocreatine stores.
For how long?
For long-lasting results, we recommend a 3-month course followed by a 1- to 2-month break. One 60-serving pouch lasts for 2 months at 3 g/day, so plan on 1.5 pouches for a full 3-month cycle.
If you train 4 or more times per week, you can take creatine continuously without needing a break.
What to pair it with?
Our Creapure® Creatine pairs perfectly with our Native Whey Isolate, our BCAA 4.1.1, or our Multivitamins. See the "Recommended Products" section below for a complete routine.
Be sure to store your creatine in its original packaging, away from heat, light, and moisture.
