Our answers to your questions

Information
Use

What are the benefits of BCAAs for athletes?

BCAAs, which include leucine, isoleucine and valine, are real allies to supplement your protein intake, especially if you practice regular physical activity.

The body cannot produce them on its own, so incorporating them into your routine helps meet your athletic needs and support your efforts.

What is the best BCAA ratio: 2.1.1 or 4.1.1?

The 2.1.1 ratio provides a balanced dose between leucine, isoleucine and valine, which is suitable for most people.

The 4.1.1 ratio, on the other hand, contains a higher concentration of leucine, aimed at maximizing the stimulation of protein synthesis. This ratio is, in our opinion, preferable for intensive protein synthesis objectives.

Are BCAAs suitable for women?

Of course, our BCAAs are just as beneficial for men as they are for women.

Can BCAAs Help With Weight Loss?

BCAAs do not directly affect weight loss. They are often used during a low-calorie diet, when you are doing a “cut”, a diet that consists of losing fat while maintaining muscle mass. Proteins and metabolism-boosting nutrients are among the supplements used to promote cutting.

Do your BCAAs contain doping substances?

No, our BCAAs bear the AFNOR anti-doping standard label. They are formulated from plant-based ingredients and are certified as compliant with current anti-doping standards.

You can therefore consume them with complete confidence, whether you are an amateur or professional athlete.

Are your BCAAs vegan?

Yes, our BCAA food supplement is suitable for vegans.

What is the difference between BCAAs and other essential amino acids?

BCAAs are specific because they are directly metabolized in the muscles. Other essential amino acids have various roles (protein construction, hormone synthesis).

Who are BCAAs for?

BCAAs are intended for sportsmen and athletes, or anyone wishing to promote protein synthesis, particularly at the muscle level.

It is suitable for athletes and active people, vegetarians and vegans, as well as the elderly…

How and when should I take BCAAs?

BCAAs can be taken before, during or after training, depending on your goals and needs. Before exercise, they prepare for the activity, during they support endurance, and after, they support the recovery phase.

I exercise once a week. Is it useful for me to consume BCAAs?

If you exercise once a week, BCAAs can be helpful, but they are not essential.

BCAAs are particularly beneficial for athletes who engage in intensive or frequent training.

If your sporting activity is moderate, a balanced diet can already provide you with the necessary amino acids.

Can I take BCAAs at the same time as other supplements (whey or creatine for example)?

Yes, BCAAs can be taken in addition to other supplements such aswheyor thecreatineno problem.

BCAAs provide essential amino acids, while whey provides complete protein and creatine helps improve muscular strength and endurance.

Can BCAAs be used to improve performance in endurance sports (cycling, marathon, etc.)?

BCAAs are very useful for endurance efforts. Including in the preparation and recovery periods.

However, for endurance sports, carbohydrate intake remains essential to maintain performance.

Are there any side effects to consuming BCAAs?

In moderate doses (5-10 g/day), BCAAs are safe. Excessive doses can cause digestive upset, amino acid imbalance, or interfere with the metabolism of other nutrients.

Are BCAAs useful during muscle drying periods?

BCAAs are useful during the drying period to limit protein loss, especially in the event of a caloric deficit. They provide useful amino acids for the body to synthesize proteins.

Can BCAAs be mixed with hot or cold drinks?

BCAAs can be mixed into hot or cold beverages, but they dissolve best in warm or cold liquids. Very hot beverages may slightly alter their structure, reducing their effectiveness.
