At the heart of our formula, we have chosen Melotime™, a patented form of prolonged-release melatonin. Unlike regular melatonin, which acts quickly but for a short duration, Melotime™ releases its effects gradually: 50% of the dose is released within the first hour to promote falling asleep, and the remaining dose is released over the next 7 hours to help reduce nighttime awakenings. Each daily dose of 2 capsules provides an optimal amount of 1.90 mg of melatonin.

We chose not to include valerian in our Sleep Formula because it can sometimes cause a feeling of heaviness or lingering fatigue upon waking. Its strong odor can also make it unpleasant to use daily. Instead, we selected plants like lemon balm, passionflower, and hops, which are known for their calming effects and are generally better tolerated.

What’s the difference between a sleep supplement and sleeping pills?
