Vegetarian and vegan diets, recognized for their benefits to health, the planet, and animal welfare, are attracting more and more people. However, the reduction or absence of animal products can lead to an increased risk of deficiencies in essential vitamins and minerals for the proper functioning of the body.
That's why we designed the Essential Vegan Routine, an excellent way to help you meet your recommended daily nutrient intake. It consists of:
- Organic Spirulina: a natural source of plant proteins, vitamins, and trace elements. Spirulina helps maintain natural defenses, reduce fatigue, and support vitality.
- Vitamin B12: essential for health, it supports the immune and nervous systems and helps prevent anemia. Since this vitamin is naturally present in animal products, it is an essential ally for people who have adopted a vegetarian or vegan diet.
This duo of supplements thus provides the essential proteins, vitamins, and minerals your body needs!
For Vitamin B12, take 1 capsule per day with a glass of water.
For Spirulina, we recommend a gradual intake: take 1 tablet per day for 2 to 3 days then take 1 additional tablet every 2-3 days until reaching 4 to 10 tablets per day, depending on your needs (4 to 6 tablets for healthy adults, 6 to 8 for pregnant women and 8 to 10 for athletes).
Since spirulina is rich in minerals, it is also advisable to drink plenty of water when supplementing to avoid digestive problems. Be sure to leave a 6-hour gap between taking Vitamin B12 and Organic Spirulina to optimize assimilation.
For greater comfort, you can space out your doses throughout the day, for example by taking Vitamin B12 in the morning and Organic Spirulina in the evening, before or during meals.
As part of a zinc treatment, separate the taking of each supplement by at least 2 hours.
- Organic Spirulina: Spirulina powder (Arthrospira platensis Gomont, thallus) from Organic Farming.
- Vitamin B12: Bulking agent: acacia gum; K-Caps® vegetable capsule (coating agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin).
Not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. Store in a dry place, away from heat and light.
About Spirulina
Do not exceed 10 tablets per day (i.e. 5 g).
Spirulina is not recommended for people with hemochromatosis problems (spirulina is rich in iron), for people with phenylketonuria problems (spirulina is rich in protein) and for smokers (spirulina contains beta-carotene). In case of drug treatment, please consult your doctor.
About Vitamin B12
Avoid overdose in adolescents with severe acne.
